Lee has been playing in bands since the late 70s, some successful, some not. 
He started with the Punk Rock Country Blues  and a mission to "keep it raw as the blues is life experience, not fancy stage clothes and too many guitars".Kent Duchane commented that his performance was the "most original country blues I've heard in years".
Lee is often joined by harmonica player Jake Jacob.
This years festivals include Hook Norton, Wooton Bluesfest.
